Control Valves include input & reporting for all types of control valves (ie. non-relief valves). The data collected (see forms) relates to both the valve itself and each repair/test/inspection entry made for the valve.
Each control valve can have an unlimited number of: repair/test/inspection entries, images and Action/Remarks attached to it. Each repair entry can have an unlimited number of: parts used in repair and repair images attached. As well, there is a Welds sheet and Weld wizard to record any welds made during a repair.
The control valve can be linked to other equipment (vessels, relief valves, rotating equipment, etc.) for easy determination of the "Equipment Loop" or "Link" maintenance status. As well, the device can be used in an Equipment Location that allows you to track all possible substitute or similar devices for any given location.
Repair Jobs are independent database entities that would include: equipment (control valves, etc.) and associated costs / expenses related to the job (labor, travel, accommodations, equip rentals...)
Repair, test and inspection intervals are easily set globally or for each unique device.
The separate user built and Avert supplied model databases allow frequently used manufacturer model numbers to be "looked up" for static info (connections etc.), internal parts list (part numbers, materials, etc.) and critical dimensions. As well, inventory and pricing data can be added to the parts in a given model number or shared across model numbers.
Positioner, Transducer and other Accessories information can be recorded as can full materials and heat numbers.
There are data points for 4 different pressure tests per repair. Both qualitative (pass / fail) and quantitative values can be recorded.
The control valves are separated into13 different "Valve Types". Each type has it's own list of user defined internal parts, quality control check list items and critical dimensions. The original types are: Gate, Globe, Check, Ball, Butterfly, Plug, Non-return, Angle, 3-Way, Control Valve, Rotary, Regulator and UserDefinable.

	General descriptive data that, typically, does not change between repairs. This means, you only enter it once and it carries on through all repairs.
	Data describing the devices configuration, materials, heat numbers and valve sizing (process) information. This data, typically, would not change between repair entries.
	The Positioner, Transducer, Actuator and other accessories are detailed here. Again, this information, generally, doesn't change from repair to repair.
	Condition Received, valve received with / setup of valve as received and reason for maintenance (scheduled, warranty, etc.) is input here. Typically, each entry will have new data placed in these fields for each repair.
	Packing, gasket, bolts / fasteners info, non-technical repair info and access to the Weld & Part Wizard and Parts sheet are all found here. Typically, each entry will have new data placed in these fields for each repair.
	As shipped, Final Test (four separate pressure test groups allow for qualitative and quantitative data, ie. test pressure AND pass/fail) and a comment are input here. Typically, each entry will have new data placed in these fields for each repair.
	Critical dimension data, user definable measured elements based upon the Valve Type, are input here. You can lookup Mfg. critical dimension data based upon the model number. You can have 10 Mfg. / Measured OR 20 Measured entries.
	Quality Control check list items (again, user definable based upon Valve Type) and cost & time data is input here. Plus, next maintenance and interval for maintenance / inspection data is kept here.
	An unlimited number of images can be added to both the repair/test/inspection entry and the equipment track (actual valve) itself.
